Renewal Reminders — Never Miss a DSC Deadline

Your Digital Signature Certificate has a fixed validity of 1, 2, or 3 years and expires automatically — it doesn't just stop working quietly, it can block GST returns, ROC filings, ITR verification, and DGFT submissions the moment it lapses. We send you timely alerts well before that happens.

Why This Matters

An Expired DSC Doesn't Warn You — It Just Stops Working

A Digital Signature Certificate is never issued for lifetime validity — it always carries a fixed 1, 2, or 3-year expiry. Many users assume it will keep working because the USB token still plugs in and lights up, but the token being active is not the same as the certificate inside it being valid.

What Happens When a DSC Expires

The moment your certificate's validity period ends, government portals stop accepting it. GST returns get rejected, ROC forms like AOC-4 and MGT-7 can't be signed, Income Tax e-verification fails, and DGFT/ICEGATE submissions are blocked — often discovered only when you're trying to file minutes before a deadline.

  • Signing errors on GST, MCA & Income Tax portals
  • Blocked tender bids and GeM submissions
  • Missed statutory deadlines and late fees

Why "I'll Remember" Isn't a Plan

Compliance calendars are packed — a DSC renewal date rarely lines up with anything you're already tracking, and unlike GST or ROC due dates, there's no portal notice reminding you. Our renewal reminder service closes that gap by tracking every certificate we've issued and proactively reaching out well before expiry.

  • Automatically tracked from the day of issuance
  • No manual calendar entry needed on your end
  • Same USB token can usually be reused after renewal
Our Alert Schedule

When We Reach Out

90 Days

Early heads-up. First alert by email and SMS so renewal is on your radar well ahead of any filing crunch.

30 Days

Time to act. A follow-up call or WhatsApp message with your renewal link — most renewals take under 30 minutes once you start.

7 Days

Priority reminder. A final push, flagged urgent, so you don't get caught out right before a filing due date.

Expiry Day

Last call. If you haven't renewed yet, we notify you the certificate is now inactive and help you start a fresh application immediately.

Where It Helps

Reminders Across Every Portal You File On

GST Return Filing
Avoid mid-month DSC failures during GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B filing by renewing before your certificate lapses.
MCA / ROC Filings
Directors and auditors get flagged ahead of AOC-4 and MGT-7 season, when an expired DSC can delay an entire company filing.
Income Tax e-Verification
Companies and tax-audit cases that must e-verify returns with a DSC are reminded before ITR filing season begins.
GeM Bids & Tenders
Sellers get alerted before an expired DSC locks them out of submitting a bid on an active tender.
DGFT & ICEGATE
Importers and exporters are reminded before shipment or Country of Origin signing gets blocked by an expired DGFT DSC.
EPFO / TRACES / e-Tender
Employer EPFO filings, TDS returns on TRACES, and CPPP tender submissions all stay covered under one reminder schedule.

How Renewal Reminders Work

1
We Track Your DSC
The moment your certificate is issued, its expiry date is logged against your name, mobile number, and email — no extra setup needed on your end.
2
You Get Alerted
Automated alerts go out at 90, 30, and 7 days before expiry via SMS, email, and WhatsApp, with a direct renewal link each time.
3
Renew in Minutes
Click the link, complete Aadhaar eKYC again, and reuse your existing USB token — most renewals are approved within 30 minutes.
4
Stay Filing-Ready
Your renewed DSC is active before the old one lapses, so there's zero gap in your ability to sign and file on any portal.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Technically, a DSC can't be extended in place — once it expires, you apply for a fresh certificate. In practice this is called "renewal" because the process is identical to your first application, and if your existing USB token still works, you can usually reuse it instead of buying a new one.
We send alerts at 90 days, 30 days, and 7 days before expiry, plus a final notice on the expiry date itself if you haven't renewed. Depending on your plan, these go out by email, SMS, and WhatsApp.
An expired DSC cannot be used for document signing, portal logins, or online filings until it's renewed. Government portals will reject the signature or fail to detect the certificate. You'll need to complete a fresh eKYC application to reissue it.
Most renewal applications are processed within 30 minutes to a few hours after completing Aadhaar eKYC verification, provided your documents are in order and match your existing certificate details.
Yes. Share your certificate's expiry date with our team and we'll add it to your reminder schedule, regardless of which Certifying Authority originally issued it.
Yes — our Multi-DSC Compliance Tracker plan lets you track up to 10 certificates from one dashboard, with alerts going to both each signatory and a designated admin at your company.
It's not required once you're on our reminder service, but it's good practice to spot-check every few months — plug in your USB token, open the certificate details in your browser or DSC software, and confirm the expiry date shown.
